At The Academy for Firearms Training, we also:

  • Specialize in handguns and sell some rifles and shotguns along with ammunition.  If we don't have a gun in some cases we can get it for you in a couple days.

  • Transfer firearms by mail.

  • Offer a gun lay-away plan and trade-ins.

  • Sell Gun Safes, Concealed Carry Holsters and Purses.

  • NEW: We sell Hunting and Fishing licenses starting around June.

  • NEW: Hunter Safety classes start in July.

The Academy for Firearms Training, Inc. is your one stop shop for Texas Concealed Handgun Licenses.  With over 26,000 graduates, everything needed for your training is included in the very low cost of the class, including classroom training, photos, notary services, private range qualifications, ammunition and targets.  Upon successful completion of your class, just mail the paperwork we assemble for you to the state, along with the CHL100 certificate we issue you.
