This training course has been carefully designed to help you understand how to safely operate a 360˚ tracked excavator. The amount of instruction required will depend on your previous experience, and sessions will be tailored to suit your individual needs. Course duration varies based on experience, ranging from one to four days.
The course includes both theory and practical sessions, followed by assessments. Course topics cover:
- Plant Safety and the Law
- Machine Knowledge and Preparation for Work
- Travelling and Manoeuvring the Machine
- Machine Operation
- Excavators used as cranes (optional)
- Theory Assessment
- Practical Assessment
Upon successfully meeting the required standards, you will be awarded a certificate of competence and a Lantra skills ID card for your chosen certificate option.
