This course offers a range of certificate options depending on your needs:
- Below ten tonnes
- Above ten tonnes
- Used as cranes.
The finer details
This assessment course is designed to evaluate your knowledge and understanding of the safe operation of a 360˚ tracked excavator.
The duration of the course will vary based on the number of participants and will range from half a day to one full day.
The assessment includes a multiple-choice question paper and a practical evaluation using the excavator. The following areas will be assessed:
- Plant Safety and Legal Requirements
- Machine Knowledge and Preparation for Work
- Traveling and Maneuvering the Machine
- Machine Operation
- Using Excavators as Cranes (optional)
Upon successfully meeting the required standards, you will receive a certificate of competence along with a Lantra skills ID card for your selected certification option.
