This training course has been developed to help you understand how to operate a ride-on roller safely.
The amount of instruction you require will depend largely on your previous experience, and sessions will be adapted to meet your needs. The course duration will vary based on experience, ranging from one to four days.
The training course will include both theory and practical sessions, followed by an assessment. Course sessions will cover:
- Plant Safety and the Law
- Principles of Soil Compaction
- Machine Knowledge and Preparation for Work
- Traveling and Maneuvering the Machine
- Machine Operation
- Theory Assessment
- Practical Assessment
Upon successfully meeting the required standards, you will be awarded a certificate of competence and a Lantra Skills ID card for your chosen certification option.
